The Foothill Foxy Flyers Roller Derby League was founded in October 2011 by sisters Jenny “JennaFerocious” Eaton and Michelle “Micci Sixx” Whisler and their close friend Melinda “Blonde Momentum” Williams. Their inspiration was to create a place where women of all ages and backgrounds could come together to mentally and physically challenge themselves through the sisterhood of roller derby.

The Foothill Foxy Flyers started with a handful of women who had a desire to learn the sport and has enjoyed continued growth for the past five years. We introduced two new teams to the league in 2014—The Foxettes and The Foxtails (our junior team for girls ages 10 – 17). Most of the original Foxy Flyers are still with the league today and are pleased to continually welcome and foster the growth of new skaters. Our league has also welcomed several new Referees and NSOs (Non-skating Officials) to the sport.

Jenny and Micci have since left FFF but we are forever grateful for all the effort and work that they put into building this amazing experience from the ground up.
